I’m almost done.
And thanks to everyone for your sweet comments on the last post. I have a small readership base, but if you’re out there and haven’t said anything yet, please de-lurk! I want to know about you and who you are, too.
To finish with the challenge…
Day 28 – Your favourite movie.
It’s a tie between A Clockwork Orange and Dr Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
Actually, I think A Clockwork Orange wins out on this one just because of sheer epicness and how absolutely hilarious it is. Watch that movie. It’s ridiculous, dark, and so, so genius.
But… Dr Strangelove is something I’d watch when I’m in the mood for something even darker, with plenty of black humour and political satire sprinkled in for good measure. Also a great movie, if you understand the implications behind it.
Day 29 – Something you could never get tired of doing.
Eating.
Day 30 – A photograph of yourself today + three good things that have happened in the past 30 days.
1) I succeeded in making macarons. Oh yes, we did!

The ones in the background were bought - and they didn't taste as good as ours! AHAHAHA SUCK ITTTTTTTTTT Kay I'm done now.
2) I skipped Winter Formal. Why was this a good idea? Because I had my wisdom tooth taken out the day earlier.
3) It snowed. A lot.
**
I would say “thank God that’s over!” but I won’t, because I have a lot more to write about tomorrow. It’s been a pretty awesome weekend, and I can’t wait to tell you about it.

You made macarons! That’s awesome; I still haven’t mustered up the courage to try it again (I tried a few years ago and failed miserably). Did you learn anything from the experience?
It almost failed, though. Just keep trying! Immense self-satisfaction ensues :D
I have never eaten a macaron and that photo of yours is making me drool. It looks so scrumptious!
Mmmmm. Shall I cue more drool? A slightly crunchy, eggshell like exterior, with a gooey interior, and a sweet, ganache-y filling of Nutella… Mmmmmmmmmmm.
DAMNIT now I want another one :(
you macarons look like they come from laduree =) I haven’t had the guts to watch “A Clockwork Orange“ yet, I should try it soon haha
It’s a good movie! I made myself finish the book before I watched the movie, though. Dark humour and juvenile delinquency at its best. And thanks!
